Can a relationship work if it is mostly based on sex?

I have been hanging out with a guy for a few months now. We get along well and have good conversations. But it seems no matter what we do or talk about it always leads to sex. And the sex is very good. But can I have a relationship with someone that is based mostly on sex? Will it work?
